Redpanda x Texas Instruments Summit

Join Redpanda and Texas Instruments for a focused summit exploring the next phase of real-time data infrastructure. This event brings together architects, platform teams, and product stakeholders to share learnings, align on roadmap priorities, and explore how streaming can unlock new capabilities across the organization.
Date & Time: August 6, 8:30AM - 4:30PM CT
Designed as a collaborative working session, the day pairs strategic conversation with hands-on technical work — giving both teams a chance to dig into real production challenges together and leave with a clear, shared path forward.
Lunch will be fully catered for in-person attendees.
Agenda
8:30 – 9:00 · Breakfast, Welcome & Introductions
Meet the Redpanda and TI teams over breakfast.
9:00 – 9:30 · Redpanda 101 & Platform Orientation
A grounding session on what Redpanda is, how TI uses it today, and the concepts the rest of the day builds on. Designed so team members newer to streaming can follow every session that follows.
9:30 – 10:30 · Tiered Storage & Apache Iceberg
A review of TI's production MinIO and ClickHouse lake house stack against Redpanda best practices, object storage options across regions, and when to use native Iceberg topics versus Redpanda Connect.
10:30 – 10:45 · Break
10:45 – 11:45 · Scaling Across a Global Manufacturing Footprint
High-volume streaming when network capacity varies widely between regions. Compression at the source and in transit, where throughput ceilings sit, and what degradation looks like as you approach them. Compression strategies for bandwidth-constrained sites, and a monitoring list with alert thresholds.
11:45 – 12:30 · Catered Lunch & Open Q&A
12:30 – 1:15 · Product Roadmap
Redpanda's direction over the next 12 to 24 months, with a focused look at the capabilities TI has active requests on (credential refresh for tiered storage, OIDC opaque token support, Iceberg multi-namespace, and shadowing). Built as a two-way conversation with time for TI's feedback.
1:15 – 2:15 · Architecture Review
A working review of TI's current deployment: scale headroom, monitoring and alerting, a repeatable load-testing approach, and the path to Kubernetes and the Redpanda Operator.
2:15 – 2:30 · Break
2:30 – 4:00 · Hands-On Workshop: Redpanda Connect
Build a multi-site replication pipeline live, from database CDC through Redpanda to per-site delivery with write-back, modeled on a real TI use case. Includes a practical comparison against alternative CDC approaches.
4:00 – 4:30 · Wrap-Up, Enablement Plan & Next Steps
Training and enablement options, how to make use of your customer success engineering hours, and named owners and dates for everything raised during the day.
